What Affects Lab-Grown Diamond Ring Prices in Dubai?
Explore how diamond quality, gold and design affect a lab-grown diamond ring's cost, with GoldHaus examples and links to current regional pricing.

A lab-grown diamond ring's price reflects the finished design: the diamonds, the selected gold, the setting and the work involved in bringing them together. Comparing two rings only by total carat weight can miss much of what you are paying for.
This guide uses three GoldHaus designs to show which details to compare. For current pricing in your region, open the product page and select your delivery region and preferred variant.
Three rings, three different starting points
Each example below uses the yellow-gold 18k variant. Other gold options are listed separately on the products. The stated diamond weight is total carat weight, not the weight of a single center stone.
Etta
Etta is listed with round diamonds, 3ctw, D/E/F color and VVS/VS clarity ranges. It offers separate 14k and 18k gold options. Compare the exact gold variant alongside the diamond specifications when choosing your piece.
Noma Band
Noma Band is listed with round diamonds, 3.5ctw, D/E/F color and VVS/VS clarity ranges. Use the product's close-ups and worn photographs to judge its shape and presence alongside the specifications.

Dome Cigar Band
Dome Cigar Band is listed with round diamonds, 4.75ctw, D/E/F color and VVS/VS clarity ranges. Compare the entire band design and ask about its dimensions when considering how you want it to sit on your finger.

These examples show different finished designs. Total carat weight alone does not isolate the cost of a design feature. Product pages show current pricing for your selected region and variant, and checkout confirms your order total.
1. Individual stone weight and total weight answer different questions
A total such as 3ctw describes the combined diamond weight in the piece. It does not tell you how many stones there are, how that weight is distributed or what dimensions each stone has. When comparing rings, ask for the center-stone weight where applicable, the total weight and the visible dimensions.
If your priority is one prominent stone, compare that stone's specifications. If you prefer a design with diamonds across a band, compare the arrangement and overall appearance. Dividing the jewelry price by its total weight leaves out the gold, setting and craftsmanship.
2. Diamond quality and proportions
Color, clarity, cut and carat weight are the familiar 4Cs. Shape and proportions also affect the appearance you see. Two stones with the same weight can have different dimensions, and a shape name alone does not describe the quality of its faceting.
Ask what the listed quality range means for your selected design and what documentation is available. Our lab-grown diamond buying guide explains origin, quality factors and the questions to ask about grading reports.
3. The gold you select
Gold fineness is one reason two variants of the same design can have different prices. Etta offers separate 14k and 18k yellow-gold options. Select the gold option on the product page to compare current pricing for your region; the difference depends on the finished piece.
The amount of gold and the construction of the ring matter too. If a product does not state a gold weight or dimension you need, ask for that information rather than estimating it from a photograph.
4. Setting, construction and customization
A finished ring combines its stones with a band, setting and finishing work. A different arrangement of diamonds, a change in proportions or a custom request can change the work required. Compare complete designs, and ask for a specific quote if you want changes.
